Coronavirus Protocol Update
Due to the recent coronavirus outbreak, COVID-19, we are taking steps to protect our patients, employees, and their loved ones. We can all play a role in slowing the speed at which the virus spreads.
As your physicians, we are committed to your health and safety. Starting June 1, 2020, we are seeing routine annual visits in the office. These appointments are limited due to adjusted office schedules, however, we will do our best to accommodate all our patient's needs whenever possible. Our hours are changing but hope to be back to normal hours as soon as the COVID - 19 situation changes.
Your health is important to us and we welcome you to call our office if you need any help deciding if you need to reschedule your appointment.
We do have a telemedicine option available if you need to see a West Oakland OB/GYN physician and are unable to come into the office.
If you have developed any of the following:
- Fever greater than 100F
- New flu-like symptoms like body aches
- New abnormal cough
- New shortness of breath
- New diarrhea
- New loss of taste or smell (in addition to the above)
- Diagnosed with or exposed to anyone with COVID-19
Please do not come to the office for your appointment. Please call us.
It is required that anyone entering our suite wear a mask or facial covering.
We have always been very welcoming of additional support people and children in our office, but at this time, we are asking that you do not bring any guests to your visits. If you need assistance and a support person is necessary, please call our office so arrangements can be made.
This is only temporary for the safety and well-being of ALL our patients at West Oakland OB/GYN.
The situation is fluid, and we are continually reassessing it.
We will be updating you regularly, and we welcome you to call our office to speak to our staff with any questions or concerns. If you have any problem getting through please call back as our phone lines are busy.
